That kind of snow needs a snow blower. Was it 'light' snow or heavy? Heavy is hard to shovel! Makes for a good workout. Oh, dear, it's only October!!!! We, on the other hand, have had a LONG fall, because it got cold early in September, began turning the leaves, and then it has been gorgeous Indian Summer.....And we only got 4 inches of snow. But what happy memories!! How do you make a hot pumpkin smoothie. Wow, Allie, you are becoming SO domestic. Was it all the Little House on the Prairie. That and 'The Art of Homemaking" by Darrel Hoole did it for me!

I am so sorry for your snow. I like it for about one day-- in the mountains.
I love the contrast between the Autumn-y yard and then covered with snow soon after. Better you than me.
